Alaska Airlines

Microchip Facility

This project was like two projects rolled into one. We had a Chemical Resistant coating and a High Performance Coating applied to various parts of the building. ASU Psychology Building

Avella

Acrylic epoxy system was specified and applied throughout all walls, floors and ceilings for the newly built Avella Cleanroom. Upon owner cleanroom qualification, the specified coating system started to deteriorate with the owner’s chemical use. The designer re-specified a Novolac epoxy system to resist the owner aggressive chemical usage. The entire cleanroom was taken offline, the walls, floors and ceilings received the Novolac epoxy system prior to reinstatement.

Oakland A’s Training Complex

Mesa, AZ

The Oakland Athletics Training Complex at Fitch Park involved a complete remodel with building additions. The interior elements received designer series paint schemes in addition to custom strip and re-staining all existing solid core doors. Epoxy paint systems were applied in all wet areas. The exterior included a complete repaint. All existing CMU and Stucco was painted with four coats of acrylic. All backstops, fencing, scouting towers and batter’s eyes were painted with color matching A’s green with yellow accents.

Hohokam Stadium was a complete rebranding project from the Chicago Cubs to the Oakland Athletics. It comprised of interior and exterior repaint along with building additions. The existing metal canopy was cleaned, prepared and received multiple coats of a high performance acrylic paint system. All existing stucco and CMU was painted with four coats of acrylic. The exiting site fence was abrasive blasted, epoxy primed and finish coated with the same high performance acrylic system as the canopy. The A’s color scheme was applied throughout the concourse, player personnel, and suit levels. An epoxy paint over block fill system was applied in all the concessions per health code requirements.

Ocotillo Brine Reduction Facility

Ocotillo, AZ

For the Ocotillo Brine Water Treatment Facility, PPC performed onsite abrasive media blasting and high performance painting all within a temporary environmental containment for the relocated 3 story structural steel platform which supports the stainless process vessel and piping. All piping and conduits received the proper surface preparation prior to color code painting. Various carbon steel vessels and supports received a high performance paint system in addition to the motors and flanges. The 100,000 gallon concrete vats were abrasive blasted prior to the installation of the elastomeric polyurethane lining system. High-performance floor coatings throughout the buildings in addition to epoxy/vinyl ester fiberglass reinforced containments.

Ocotillo Country Club

Surface preparation, staining and high performance sealing of existing exposed Glulam beams. All of the supporting steel was refinished in high performance polyurethane black. The finishing touch was the custom faux patina caps on the glue lams. These caps were result of a PPC Value Engineering proposal as they greatly prolonged the usability of the exposed glulams.
