YouthCare

Skanska has partnered with South Lake Union neighbor, YouthCare in various ways. Through YouthCare’s YouthBuild, Skanska has helped support a new generation of skilled workers. The program provides education and employment skills training to 30 at-risk young adults in the Seattle area. Skanska held a donation drive to give program participants and graduates basic work necessities – new socks, work gloves, long underwear, work pants and boots, plus personal hygiene items. Employees also raised $1,220 for the program and donated an additional $1,000.
